Valid Passport
All current and previous passports are required. In case of a lost passport, an FIR copy must be provided. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in China.

Family Registration Certificate (FRC).

Cover/Request Letter
A formal request letter on your official letterhead (if applicable).
Financial Proof
Bank statement for the last 6 months, signed and stamped by the bank.
Account maintenance letter from the bank, signed and stamped.
Health & Safety Requirements
Copy of your polio vaccination card.
Travel Arrangements (to be provided by us)
Travel insurance, hotel booking, travel plan, flight reservation.

How long must my passport be valid to apply for a China visa?
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in China and have at least two blank visa pages.
How many photos are required for the China visa application?
Generally, one recent passport-size photo (35mm x 45mm, white background, matte finish) is required. However, additional photos may be requested by the Embassy.
Is an invitation letter mandatory for a China visit visa?
Not always. For tourism purposes, confirmed hotel bookings and travel plans are acceptable. If you are visiting family/friends, then an invitation letter may be required.
How much bank balance should I maintain for the China visit visa?
There is no fixed requirement, but your 6-month bank statement should reflect a stable balance sufficient to cover travel expenses, accommodation, and return tickets.
How long does it take to process a China visit visa?
Normally, processing takes 7–10 working days after submission of documents and biometrics. However, it may take longer depending on Embassy workload.
What happens if documents are missing or incomplete?
Applications with missing or incorrect documents will not be accepted. Additional documents may also be requested by the consular officer.
