FAQ for Europe Visa

Do I need a visa to travel to Europe?

Yes, travelers generally need a Schengen visa to visit most European countries. Some nationalities are exempt.

A Schengen tourist visa usually allows stays of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

Processing time typically ranges from 15 to 30 working days, depending on the embassy and country of application.

Extensions are very limited and only approved in exceptional cases such as emergencies.

The Schengen visa allows entry to 27 European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, and others.

No, a tourist visa does not allow you to work. You need a separate work or residence visa.

Not always. An invitation letter may be required if you are visiting family/friends, but for tourism, confirmed hotel booking is sufficient.
